This is my first log, but...nothing's really happened as of yet. I'm currently on a family trip to Mesagoza, if that means anything? Visiting lots of places. Mostly bakeries and ice creameries. Creameries? Is that what you call them? I don't know. I'll have to look that up later.

We're here for a relative's birthday (!), so we'll be here for the rest of the week. Don't think that be long enough to explore all of Mesagoza, though! The place is massive. Even bigger than Cascaraffa. It's a bit overwhelming. I've already gotten turned around like. 5 times. I need to get better at using Sligoogle Maps ,^_^

1. For stores, it's an Ice Cream Parlor.

2. I went to a really cool Cafe today! They had so many sweets and drinks, it was a little overwhelming ^^ Mesagoza really has a lot! I could see myself walking around here a lot, just to...look at things. Maybe it feels so different than Cascaraffa because of that- because I'm more familiar with the latter? They're both just really big cities in the end. One just has water lifts and a different color scheme.

Anyway, I'll be spending more time with my family tomorrow. Actually celebrating the birthday and stuff, you know? I hope my uncle likes his gift ^_^ my mother also mentioned something about an exhibition match tomorrow. I'll keep my hopes up on that. I don't think she'd actually expect me to like. Battle. That'd be kind of lame.

I misheard her, apparently! It wasn't like. An exhibition match. We just went to a park and we were like 'ooh there's a battlefield what if you two battle?' and um. Yeah! Not too bad. Won one match, lost the other. Pretty standard, I'd say!

My uncle liked his gift, though! :D That's good. Part of me feels like I'm typing in circles because I'm so tired, so I don't know if anything I'm saying is comprehensible right now. Sorry ,^_^ Ummmmm We have one more day in Mesagoza before we head back on Monday. I think we're planning on going to a fancy restaurant? Maybe I can get some more ice cream before we leave, hah.

My apologies for not writing anything yesterday! It's just, well... nothing really happened ,^_^ we headed back to Cascaraffa, though! I felt a little sad leaving...I'd love to visit Mesagoza again sometime!

For now though, things have returned to normal. I went to work today, walked around town, played some more Majora's Yamask...trained my Pokemon! Which is. Going. I think Cadmium learned a new move today! I'd love to add her on my team someday, but I. Don't really know how to pair a Drifloon- or a Drifblim with any of my current Pokemon. Maybe Baryon? A Kingdra and a Drifblim might work. I'm not sure!

(Which I admit is a little funny, seeing as how a good 2/3rds of my life revolves around battling.)

...I've come to the conclusion that I'll simply write here whenever the mood strikes me. Or something interesting happens.

Speaking of! I went out for a walk today with my Pokemon. The local kids really like Cadmium, which is...worrying in a sense, I think? But maybe they just like the novelty of a shiny Pokemon. It was weird, though- one of them knew my name. Which, like. I had told her it at some point, I remember that- and she's my neighbour, too, but still. I didn't expect her to remember it. We only met like....three times? It was quite a shock ,^_^

Anyway, not much else has happened. Work has been slow. I'm starting to think of what I'll do next year at school. I'm joining the Music Club for sure, but I was thinking of taking some extra classes as well. Anything to keep my grade up, hah.

...Oh. And completely unrelated, but the Every Wich Way nearby is now selling this limited edition fruit sandwich. It's utterly divine. :D

AUUUUUGH there's only like a month left of summer vacation at LEAST. It's scary how quickly time can fly...especially since I've done nothing this summer :| I need to think of something fun to do before I have to go back to that dome for another six or something months....

Regardless, I think I'm partially excited for school to start back up. Mainly for seeing my friends. Friend. Euuugh. ...And the cafeteria food is pretty good! I see people complain about it, but I think it's fine. Maybe it's because I only eat there on occasion...? Maybe I'd get sick of the pizza if I had it every day or something.

I'm kind of curious to see what'll happen next year after the incident. Incidents, plural, really. What with the whole League Club fiasco and something involving Ms. Briar I think? I'm not too keen on the details. I wonder if they fired her?

Anyway. I think I'm gonna go for a walk before it's too late, hah.

Lots of things have happened lately, so I'll make a list!

1.) I called the school and officially signed up for the Music Club!! :D I also officially resigned from the League Club. What a relief...glad I didn't have to meet anyone face to face for that. I also got my ID updated with some more information! They couldn't round up my height this time around though, which is lame :/

2.) I started planning a trip to Porto Marinada! It'll be great- I'm gonna visit the market, camp outside, maybe try some food...augh I can't wait :)

3.) Cadmium learned a new move! I think it's Shadow Ball :o

4.) I think that's it...? I can't remember anything else. I'll update this if I remember anything!

FUCK it's August already!!! Damn!!! I don't want summer to end :(

Anyway I'm going down to Porto Marinado on the 5th! Idk if I'll be able to post about it or anything on here, but we'll see...auuuugh I'm super excited! This'll be like. My second trip outside of Cascaraffa on my own. Pretty cool!!

I've also been thinking about adding more to this website. Like...maybe a page for my Pokemon? It'd incentivize me to take more pictures of them and talk about them? It's either that or a page about my interests. >_> We'll see if I have the energy for that!

Also. I found a new artist. The Vanished People. :D

Trip is only two days away!! Aaaaah I'm nervous but also excited ^^

Cadmium and Locke seemed to have bonded! Which is both a curse and a blessing, I think. It's a blessing because for a moment there I didn't think they'd get along...but it's a curse because now they're teaming up to steal stuff from me >:( in exchange for treats >:(( I have to fight with them to get my keys back it's a problem.

Anyway back to the trip- my sister's talked about coming along with me too! Which would be great- we haven't spent that much time together lately :o I'd have to forgo the whole 'camping' aspect of the trip though...but I think I'd be fine with that! She also said she'd help me win stuff at the auction, so I'm looking forward to that. (She was always much more persuasive than me ,^_^)

I can edit html on my Rotomphone! Just found that out :o so here I am! (I am writing this in the morning btw)

So my sister and I did go out to Porto Marinada! We took a flying taxi and booked a bnb- which I guess is better than sleeping outside, but still. Brought my tent stuff for nothing :(

We went to the auction house yesterday though! It was great!!! So many people selling so many different things. We got a bunch of stuff! I got these super cool gloves that are supposed to be designed after like...well I don't know. They're purple and pink though, so they're cute! My sister got some cool sunglasses and some Comet Shards (I don't think they're actually from comets but they're pretty regardless) and we both got some seaweed to take home! We're planning on making some soup when we get back.

Oooh- we went down to the dock too! Had some ice cream and watched all the Water type Pokemon in the ocean :> There was so many of them! Which. I guess makes sense. But then we just hung out in our bnb and watched some TV. And now we're here!

We have one more day in Porto Marinada before we head back, so we're gonna try and make it to the beach. Then in a week or two, we'll be heading back to school....eugh :/

Anyway! It's been really fun hanging out with my sister. I should do it more often. She's pretty fun to be around! When we aren't talking about battles. Or school.

I think that's just my problem, though.

Eugh...so much happened these past few days...sorry ,^_^

First off- that beach was great! Spent lots of time hanging out in the ocean, collecting seashells, swimming...all of our Pokemon had a great time too :) I should share some pictures one of these days!

We just spent all of yesterday flying back home, which already took a good chunk out of the day- but then my parents took us shopping! For school and stuff. Stocked up on pens and journals and erasers and stuff. Don't know why they insisted on doing it right then and there? I think it was because they have stuff planned for the next couple days, and they just wanted to get it done. That makes sense, I think. Their anniversary is coming up soon after all ^^

But I do feel a little bad- I don't like any of the stationary we got :( the notebooks' paper is too thin, the pens don't have any of the pretty ink, and the erasers are like super grainy. I think they were made for thicker paper? Which means they just tear through the notebooks' pages!! ...Soooo I burnt a little bit of my spending money and bought some other stuff instead. Hope that's alright ,^_^

They'll come in a few days, so I just have to figure out how to hide them from my parents. I'm already the guy who 'checks the mail' in my family, so that'll be good...maybe, depending on the package size, I could hide them in my jacket? I'd just have to explain why I'm wearing that thick thing in the August heat. Or maybe my shoulder bag? ...But then I'll have to explain to onlookers why I'm shoving mail into a bag...

ANYWAY! The stationary's super cute! I got these little scented erasers that are shaped like Alcremie Sweets, and this notebook with a bunch of Minior on it!!! And like...glittery multicolored pens that aren't based off of any Pokemon, but they're still super cute!! :D I can't wait for them to arrive hehehehe

...I promise that stationery isn't the only thing I like. I have other hobbies

Ummm I spent this whole entry ranting about stuff I bought though. Let's see...in other news, Salt has been producing a lot of his namesake recently. It doesn't seem like he's in pain, so I don't think it's serious, but it's interesting. Maybe it has something with the beach we visited the other day?

I've been thinking about Lental a lot recently. I'd love to go back there someday, but...I don't really know how. Like. How I can convince my parents, or get enough money for it, or what I'd do there in general. I just wanna see the beaches and the forests and the Pokemon again. I wanna get back into photography. But I'm nowhere near skilled enough to sign up for the researcher's program, and I've aged out of the junior's program already. Not to mention I worry that I'll head back and simply...run out of motivation. Like the Photography Club.

...Anyway. Another thing I've been thinking of that's related (tangentially!) is school trips! I've looked on the school's website, and there's a couple. It seems like I've been doing nothing but trips recently, but!!! I think they look cool >:0 There's one for Unova that looks like it'd be best. I'd want to try the Kitakami trip really, but...I'd get worried that I'd run into people. Blegh :p

The Unova one's cool though- we spend most of the time in Nimbasa, but then drive to a city called Driftveil to watch the PWT! It's super cool. It's also the cheapest option (we still have to pay for some things) because it's the closest to the school. I should talk to my friend about it and see if they would like to come with! Or. Sign up too.

Oh! And!! My package should arrive tomorrow :DDD I have a plan for smuggling it in, don't worry. Here's hoping it works.

My plan worked without a hitch! :D Went out to the store and checked the mail before I headed out!!! They didn't suspect a thing ^_^

And OOUUUGH THEY'RE ALL SO CUTTTTEEEE I LOVE THEM!!!! The pens are adorable and so are the erasers and the little notebooks!!!! I am going to be studying in STYLE this year!!

Hmm....outside of that, it was a pretty relaxed day. I've been playing this one game recently, for the Chespintendo Switch- Pikuniku? It's really fun! Kinda similar to Oddish Boy, but I haven't played that one, so I can't realllllly say? Anyway! You should play Pikuniku! :D

Man. Maybe I should do something fun to talk about. I don't want all of these posts to be mundane :(

Eeeeh. Maybe things'll pick up when school starts!

The first day of school creeps ever closer...It's nervewracking >->

The first couple weeks are always so stressful, aren't they? Both before school starts and as school kicks off. New classes, new teachers, making sure the student body doesn't hate you right out of the gate....argh. I hope the Freshman aren't too annoying about Snacksworth this year. Or. They don't make the connection. Yeagh.

In other news! I've been trying to figure out how to bring my copy of Majora's Yamask with me. It's not working :( Because the dorms at BB don't have TVs, I've been looking into other...monitors or something to hook my 64 up to. Like a laptop. This isn't working. I don't have the proper cables or extension cords. Which SUCKS. But it's fine, technically. It's not that big of a deal. I can just like. Play around with a ROM. But the physical cartridge just feels nice in your hands, doesn't it? And the controller kinda grounds you. I think, at least.

The other solution is to get into some other game that can be played on a Switch or computer, of course. But I'm not sure what. I've heard a bunch about like. Guilty Klang? Or something? I might check that out. :D

OH ALSO- The Chantilly Alcremie Pageant began airing. It's just as horrible as last year. Really, I shouldn't hate watch it, but it's sooooo easssssyyyyyy to! I bet you so much money that a Rainbow Swirl Alcremie wins this year again. :p

To be fair the Runner Up was a Vanilla Cream / Star Sweet so. That's something!! Still disappointing though.

Anyway. More important things! We're leaving for Blueberry on Wednesday....augh....I'm gonna miss home. School officially starts on the 26th, so we'll just spend the next few days setting up our dorms and getting used to artificial sun or whatever. I think my uncle will be there alreaday? I hope so. I know my friend is, so it won't be completely lonely.

Still...I know it's stupid, but I feel sad. I don't want school to end. And I'll only have one summer after this before I graduate and I have to be a big kid. That's fucking terrifying. I don't think I'm ready for that.

I was going to write more but then the power went out ;_; damn sandstorms

Uh I can't write much this night either because!! We're leaving early in the morning! The plane leaves outta Mesagoza so we gotta get there and then the plane ride itself is like. Eight hours long. And THEN there's a ferry to the school that'll take a couple hours- but maybe we can take the subway instead. I hope so! I'm less afraid of trains than of boats.

I'm going to go cry in my bed now, hah. I don't wanna go tomorrow.....

We made it!! Somehow ,^_^

The flight was ROUGH though, let me tell you. 8 hours long...at least I downloaded a bunch of stuff to watch beforehand, but still!! It was stressful :( And then there was the ferry. Which was fine, I guess. But I'm just not a fan of boats either :((

But anyway!! I pretty much slept throughout all of today, hah. It's strange being back here though. Not much has changed, but it's still unfamiliar...

I don't think I like BB's color scheme. It feels too clinical. I know it's supposed to be all futuristic and modern or whatever, but still :/

Tomorrow I'm going to get unpacked and get some syllabus stuff for next year. Maybe look at my new classes, check out the Terarium, hang out with my friends...you know! Stuff. Hopefully it all goes well!

Had my first classes today...ugggh I was dreading this day for so long but it wasn't. Too bad? I think? I'm on an alternating schedule, so I'll have my other classes tomorrow, but...It was Trig, B. Analysis, B. Track, and Physics. Very science-y!

My trigonometry teacher mispronounced my name, though- read it as 'Jillian'. Which I mean...is how you CAN pronounce it, yeah, but I don't like how it sounds? Anyway, I was going to correct him, but I kind of got sidetracked...he gave us a little worksheet to fill out with a bunch of basic questions about ourselves, which was cute...but. He thinks I like being called 'Jill'. And it's too late to correct him now right??? So. That's that, I guess. I just hope no one else starts calling me that. :(

I'm so so so soooooo fucking lucky my sister and I aren't in the same Battle Track course though, thank ARC. I don't know anybody there!!!! Which is super good. No one will make fun of me right out of the gate >:)

Uhhhh what else...tomorrow will be Galarian, History, my elective, annnnnd I think that's it? I'll also be stopping by the Music club for the first time, so. Yay :D

It wasn't too bad, all in all! I'm looking forward to the next couple days. Before everything goes. Absolutely insane ,^_^

(And before the Freshmen find out about Snacksworth.

SECOND DAY DONE!!! This one definitely went better. No one calling me Jill or anything :D

Turns out one of my friends is in my Galarian class, so that's nice. I'm not completely alone this year. Apparently he caught a Snom or something over the summer? He wouldn't stop showing me this one picture of it.

Anyyyywayyyy I also went to the Music Club for the first time! It was. Nice. Didn't know anyone there obviously but everyone was super friendly! Hope I didn't come across as flighty or anything ,^_^ Looking forward to the next meeting!! When I'll bring my guitar and stuff!!!

Aside from that...not much else happened. Lunch was alright. It's a bit scary how easily I'm settling back into routine....hm.

The next couple of weeks, I want to get back onto my photodex grind- Think I'll do some of that tomorrow. Walk around...work up the courage to ask people stuff....take pictures....upload...catalogue...the whole deal. I'm looking forward to it ^^

Speaking of! Tomorrow's my field study day- aka the Day I Go Out Into The Terarium and Do Shit. Should be fun!! ish. Maybe I should ask my friend for more Snom pictures to get me through this.

Oof. Today was a very long day ;_;

First off- yesterday was fun! I just spent my time walking around, doing BBQs, talking to people...you know. It was good! Had a lot of fun :)

Today I had my first real class outside in the Terarium, though. Did the whole 'catch a certain Pokemon and bring it back to finish this assignment!' thing. Or, well. I was given said assignment, and kind of didn't do it. I'm not good with catching Pokemon, honestly ,^_^

So now I'm doing extra homework! Which I'd take over wrestling with a Beartic any day. But Uuugh I've been walking around all day, and now I've also been staring at a computer screen for over three hours...my brain is cooked. I don't know if anything I'm typing is coherent right now. I need to go to bed. I haven't even gotten through my first week and I'm already tired... D:

I should probably go now. Oh but before I forget to mention rye sent me taht snom picture again and oh my arc its ver yc ute but also its the same picture. over and oer. why deosnt he pick a different picture why is is it the smae one every time

Well! It's uh. Been a bit. Sorry I was just really busy :(

Classes and stuff just keep coming and don't stop coming, hah. It's stressful, but. Uh. I think that's just normal for school. Still skipping out on the catching assignments for take-home worksheets instead. Or would they be 'take-dorm'? Eh. idk.

OH! OH OH OH BUT! I started talking to some more people this past week! Which is a lot! For me! But I managed to organize a study group with someone and like one of my friends that I went to yesterday at lunch!!!! Which I'm really really happy about!!! :)

We, uh, didn't have much to study about though. So we just kinda sat there. But it was still cool! Better than not having a study group at all ^_^ It's going to pay off once exams and stuff start trickling in, I think.

In other news...I've been slowly getting myself back out there to work on my photodex. It's surprisingly hard to find a Trainer with an Alcremie just out and about, not in a battle. ...Of course, I think the um. Elite Four Member has one. Lacey? But. I don't really know her. That'd be super awkward. So probably not.

Okay so do you remember that one teacher I mentioned a while back? The one that's mispronouncing my name on accident? Well as of late some OTHER students have been picking up on it and are now calling me 'Jillian' and 'Jill' too and just- ugh :/ It's annoying, a little. But whenever they say it they kinda chuckle and laugh because they KNOW I like Gill better, and my stupid mouth can't help but laugh with them- it's like. A reflex, right? Someone says a joke and they laugh, and you laugh back, even if it wasn't funny or whatever. So they probably think that I find it funny too, even though I don't.

Because like-! I like my name. I like Gill. I like how it sounds. I like how it sounds on me, you know? But I don't like Jill. But it's my fault in the first place. So. Idk.

And like the thing is is that I don't know these people. I had like one or two in the same class last year, and we might've grouped up for one project, but that's it? Like they're not friends. Acquaintances at best. And it's frustrating??? But again. My fault. I should be clearer about this. I shouldn't have let this get too far.

Some people have suggested violence but I don't think that's a good idea uhhhh. Maybe I should talk to them on Monday? Before I threaten them? ...I say as if I'd actually do that. Arc knows I have no intimidation skills. Or strength. I'd get my ass handed to me if I pulled something like that.

...Anyway. Music Club :D It's been great! And Study Club :DD It's more like a study group but still :DDD That's also been great! Everything outside of trigonometry has been great really

So. Those kids I was talking about...last week. Arc, that was a week ago? I need to catch up :((

Anyway I talked to those kids and mentioned 'haha btw I don't like when you call me Jill!!! Even as a joke!!!' and I thought I was pretty clear about it but. Well. They're still doing it. It's a lost cause, honestly.

And I mean I'm upset but there's nothing I can do about it. I said my piece. And there's no way I can threaten them, because. Well. Just because. I would say 'look at me' but I've never shown a picture of myself. Uhh. I'd die if I did somehting and they retaliated. Plus I don't wanna be known as the kid who started a fight or something stupid shit.

...Anyyyyway. I signed up for the Unova School trip a few weeks back! It seemed nice- and pretty uncompetetive, compared to the other trips. 'Cause like. The majority of students are from Unova, so a trip back wouldn't be very exciting, especially compared to like. Ferrum. Kitakami. Paldea. We're supposed to be getting the roster soon...Hope I get in. My friend ALSO signed up, so. Hope they get in too???

I might be lying but I swear the Terarium disco ball looks different this year. I don't remember it being all iridescent, it was more of a....green tone? Right? I say 'right' as if anyone on here can vouch for it. Anyway that's all I've been thinking about today so that's all I have to say here.

The border of the Terarium is an interesting place. It's just a bunch of gravel and some water, and then some mantainence tunnels and the edge of the dome. Sky. Thing. It's a pretty consistent temperature too, no matter what Biome you're nearby. And it's pretty quiet too!! Only a few kids ever hang out around there. It's mostly for like...parties and "the market".

Anyway it's a nice place! I like it a lot. Probably not more than the Canyon Biome itself, but it's a great place if you just want to get away from it all. It's like the edge of the world- It is, technically. In a sense. The edge of a world.

Speaking of secluded places that are bordering on trespassing- the crystal ball! At the top of the Terarium! That's a good place, too. Though that one's more well-known, so more people tend to be there. It's now like...a lamer hang-out spot. Some Freshmen were caught making out up there this week, actually. That was a fun thing to read in a newsletter.

Hm....What else has happened.....I'm playing my guitar more! Hanging out in the Coastal Biome after class and listening to the wind. Almost sounds like a song, you know? Very good background ambience! ^_^

OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY SOOOOOOO :DDDDD

I'm in that study group right?? With my friend and another person who I guess is also my friend right??? So the other day I noticed the other person's nails and I was like 'wow that's pretty cool did you paint your own nails' and she was like 'YEah!!!' and I was like 'wow!!1 that's super cool!!' and she was like 'mhm do you want ME to do YOUR nails' and I was like???? YES????? I've never painted them before! I mean I have but it was like with whiteboard markers and sharpies so technically not.

AND! WE GOT MY OTHER FRIEND IN ON IT!! SO AFTER CLASS TODAY WE WENT AND WE PAINTED OUR NAIL!!! OHHHHH OUUUUUUGH I think this is what gender euphoria feels like

They're so pretty!!!! I'll have to get Ampere to help me take a picture later but like!! They're yellow and blue and they have charms on them!! Star and blueberry charms! BECAUSE LIKE BERRY AND STAR SWEETS!!!

I think it’s really funny hearing the Freshman make up and subsequently believe all these rumors about my uncle. Granted, it may be a particular brand of humor that only applies to me, but still! Hearing all the ‘That old guy who stands outside in the plaza has actually met with the Sun God!’ and ‘I hear if you head to the surface late at night, you’ll be able to see him summoning Kyogre!’ Which is hilarious. Because I don’t think my uncle’s ever met with a god, nor would he summon one to the CAMPUS??? HELLO??

I’ve thought about throwing a few rumors into the mix, but… I don’t think I could deal with the attention >-> especially since some people would be quick to point out my last name. Er. One of them. And then the Freshman would either make fun of me or never leave me alone. Both, perhaps.

I don’t know. This is all to say that my Uncle gave me an assorted snack box today and it was very delicious :)
