Team Evaluation.

0.0 Overview.

This is a personal project of mine! Not really a report, just a kind of void for me to shout about team composition 👍 I'm at the funny fighting school, it only makes sense that I get better at battling JDGFADJKLGA

Main Team

Current Strategies

One thing that I notice is a problem is the fact that my team's kinda. Segmented. Sugar and Spice are supposed to go together, Locke and Key are supposed to team up, and Salt and Pepper work best together. Which is a PROBLEM, because if ONE faints but the OTHER stays in, that messes everything up. Plus their nicknames won't match :(

ANYWAY. The idea for the first round is for Spice to set up Sandstorm and Sugar to use Decorate. Sugar's fundamentally slower than Spice, so she'll have to go last. Then...I terastalize Sugar to give her the Steel typing and either use Protect or Tera Blast? And the same with Spice? I notice a lot of my mons have Protect. I should change that. Eventually.

UM. And then the next phase. Locke sets up Light Screens and Spikes while Key uses Toxic and Overdrive? If Key gets burned or something she can use Facade. And if things get really bad she can dip out and send in Salt, provided Sandstorm is still up and running. Locke is just there to hang out as much as possible, annoy the opponent, etc.

AND THE FINAL PHASE. It's just supposed to be an all out offensive, seeing as how Salt and Pepper would be my last two Pokemon. Have Salt use Substitute and start going to town on Salt Cure and Fissure, or set up Sunny Day and Solar Beam with Pepper and use Overheat. After that...I dunno I'm kinda fucked.

Other Ideas

Okay okay oka SO. I was thinking. I could switch around how I send out everyone. If I give Salt Sandstorm, he can be sent out first instead of Spice. I could also send out Locke and Key first- which would make sense I guess, given that Locke is supposed to be a setter for stuff. Then maybe switch out Key and send in Spice, who can set up Sandstorm? And then pair Sugar with Salt, who could probably pull off a Decorate and a Salt Cure? If the Sandstorm's still going, Sugar could Terastalize or something...Which would leave Pepper and Key to clean up.

I've just reinvented the Sandstorm team I think. Damn.

There's also the Pokemon not on my main team. Baryon, Cadmium, and Junebug. They all definitely have potential (Cadmium especially, once she evolves) the problem is just figuring out how to apply them. And the nicknames SUPER won't match :((

I think June and Pepper could pair well- Pepper can set up Sunny Day, and June can utilize it for her ability, Overheat, etc.. I should look into changing her Tera type. It's a bit late to order anything from Medali (especially cause I don't have any Tera Shards) ...but eventually. Yeah.

Cadmium could go well with either Spice or Salt. She'd be able to avoid Earthquakes and stuff, which means I can use them as much as I want.
